joe_riversideJOE RODRIGUEZ has directed San Diego Harmony Ringers since its inception.  He was born and raised on the Monterey Peninsula, where he studied piano with Angie Machado in Carmel. He graduated from CSU Los Angeles with a degree in Organ Performance and studied organ privately with Ladd Thomas in Los Angeles.  Joe has served as organist and music director at several churches in California, including Lake Avenue Church, Pasadena; First Presbyterian Church, Berkeley; College Avenue Baptist Church, San Diego; Fallbrook Presbyterian Church, Fallbrook; and is currently Director of Music and Organist at Faith Presbyterian Church, San Diego. He was the Director of Operations for the Spreckels Organ Society from 1999 until 2010.  In recent years, Joe has composed numerous musical arrangements and original works for organ and handbells.  San Diego Harmony Ringers has been privileged to debut several of Joe's handbell ensemble compositions.
